This Friday, February 10th, Texas will experience a whole new "Friday Night Lights".

According to C-Net, the Friday sky will show us a triple feature as we'll be able to see an eclipse, a passing comet, and the full moon.

After you recover from that experience, suit up for Comet 45p. You've been able to see this for a few weeks already. That is, if you take your telescope off your neighbor's window and actually point it to the sky. But Friday night/Saturday morning, it will have its closest approach to our planet - only 7.4 millions miles away. You could almost reach out and touch it. It flew by in 2011 and will be back around again in 2022.
