Warren Zevon Passed Away 10 Years Ago Today

Hey Gang,

Big Q here.  Well it was on this day in 2003 that Warren Zevon succumbed to lung cancer. Warren wasn't the only music star to scythed by the reaper in 2003.

Some of the other that left us in 2003 include Johnny Paycheck, who gave the ultimate exit line.  And a funny movie from the 80's. "Take This Job and Shove It".

We also lost Barry Eugene Carter, otherwise known at Barry White.

The Reaper found this man "Simply Irresistible".  So that's why Robert Palmer had to go.

Then there was June Carter Cash, followed by her husband Johnny just 4 months later.

And under the category of "Also Died" is Maurice Gibb, Nina Simone, Elliot Smith, and Bobby Hatfield of the Righteous Brothers.
